WebMon 1.0.11 is a program that will check if a web page has been updated. Sometimes you need to know instantly when a web page changes. You can be waiting for breaking news on a subject, share prices, or specific information on a subject. This utility will check the web pages you want to monitor automatically, and warn you if they have been changed.
The program is very easy to use. In the main menu, you can enter the URLs of the sites to monitor. Once you have built the list, you can tell the program to begin checking for updates by pressing the F6 key. If the program finds any update, it will flash a pop-up warning in the lower-right end of the screen, with a link to the updated webpage. You can click on that link to check the changes. Or, you can press the Ctrl-U hotkey and all the updated pages will be opened in your web browser. The Tools/Preferences menu will allow you to configure additional parameters in the program, such as update and error alerts, update logging, connections, proxy server, preferred web browser and more.
